Smooth Lakehouse
Lakehouse by Of Monsters and Men (download here) This is one of my favorite tunes of the new year from a six-piece band from Iceland. The lyrics don’t really make sense but it’s still catchy. Enjoy
Truth
Truth by Alexander (download here) (Buy from Amazon) This is one of my favorite songs of the year. It’s just so chill and laid back and how can you complain to such bad-ass whistling. This is the frontman from Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros

Mylo House Tunes
Emotion 98.6 by Mylo (download here) (Buy from Amazon) If you like working to smooth tunes, this is just your type of song. Lately at work, this is just what we’ve been rolling to. It’s from 2004, but it’s still brand new to me.

Be Cool
Be Cool by Lake Street Dive (download here) (Buy from Amazon) This is a pretty chill and funky tune by Rachael Price. She’s a badass jazz musician out of Tennessee and was only 22 when she recorded this. This is one of my favorite tunes.
Calgary Remix
Calgary by Bon Iver (Thunderlust Remix) (download here) Another mesmerizing tune by Bon Iver. The original is great too but this Thunderlust remix just really does it for me.
Generational’s Black and White
Black and White by Generationals (download here) (Buy from Amazon) My new favorite band is Generationals. J-Street sent them over to me last week and i’ve been playing their entire album non-stop. It’s great. Sort of British version of Phoenix which is strange because they’re from New Orleans. write dissertation write speech custom book review [...]
This is the Marriage of Heaven and Hell
Mardi Gras by Surprise Me Mr. Davis (download here) (Buy from Amazon) This is the marriage of heaven and hell and it’s done by The Slip. The band that’s called Surprise Me Mr. Davis is actually The Slip plus one other dude. They’re all Boston guys. This is a great tune.
Middle Brother
Middle Brother by Middle Brother (download here) (Buy from Amazon) This is a one of the better folk indie songs i’ve heard this year. Maybe because i’m a middle child and i want to make my parents, kids and country proud too.

Robert Plant’s Fortune Teller
Fortune Teller by Robert Plant and Alison Krause (download here) (Buy from Amazon) This album is just great. I’m such a big fan. It’s smooth and chill. Enjoy this and have a great week.
Let the River Roll
Somehow To Keep It Going by Cotton Jones (download here) (Buy from Amazon) “Come on baby, let the river roll on.” A great folksy indie song. It’s very mellow. Enjoy
