Hey Sydney, I’ll Be There
Sydney (I’ll Come Running) by Brett Dennen (download here) (Buy from Amazon) A great bouncy song by Brett. It’s no wonder that he’s signed to Jack Johnson’s label because hearing this song is similar to how I felt when i first heard Brushfire Fairytales album. So good.

Ghosts We Knew
Ghosts That We Knew by Mumford and Sons (download here) A new song by British guys. This one is another slow burn and is just beautiful. Enjoy
The Prettiest Thing
The Prettiest Thing by The Avett Brothers (download here) Great little folk song originally written by David Childers. The refrain says it all: “I can’t remember what we talked about, i just remember your face. The prettiest thing i had ever seen.” Also has a really cool video.

This is the Marriage of Heaven and Hell
Mardi Gras by Surprise Me Mr. Davis (download here) (Buy from Amazon) This is the marriage of heaven and hell and it’s done by The Slip. The band that’s called Surprise Me Mr. Davis is actually The Slip plus one other dude. They’re all Boston guys. This is a great tune.
Middle Brother
Middle Brother by Middle Brother (download here) (Buy from Amazon) This is a one of the better folk indie songs i’ve heard this year. Maybe because i’m a middle child and i want to make my parents, kids and country proud too.

Let the River Roll
Somehow To Keep It Going by Cotton Jones (download here) (Buy from Amazon) “Come on baby, let the river roll on.” A great folksy indie song. It’s very mellow. Enjoy
Man in Santa Suit
The Man In The Santa Suit by Neal Halstead (download here) (Buy from Amazon) A folksy song about a guy in a Santa suit. This is probably one of my favorite Christmas songs

A Little Voice
Little Voice by Rebekah Higgs (download here) (Buy from Amazon) This is a cute little song. Reminds me of the “Our House” song from the 70′s in the beginning. The 28 year old Canadian singer has put together a good little tune here.
Too Young To Burn
Too Young To Burn by Sonny And The Sunsets (download here) (Buy from Amazon) This is a good bouncy folksy song. It’s pretty catchy. Beware or you’ll be singing it all day
