Getting your mind erased by the Black Keys
Mind Eraser by The Black Keys (download here) (Buy from Amazon)The new Black Keys is quite a jam. I’m loving all of it and it’s on steady rotation in the Lewhouse.
Tell Me A Lie
Tell Me A Lie by Griffin House (download here) (Buy from Amazon) This is a great song that is sad and beautiful. I thank Everett Case for sharing the tune back in 2006.
Afraid of Anyone
Afraid of Anyone by The National (download here)
I’m on a BloodBuzz
Bloodbuzz Ohio by The National (download here) (Buy from Amazon) This is a catchy tune if you just give it a chance. The National is one of the bands that everyone seems to like but you never hear. Well, here they are.
KiD’s Prayer
The Prayer by KiD CuDi (download here) This had me at the Band of Horses sample. It’s also just a good tune. KiD CuDi seems pretty sweet. He’s one of the few artists that seem to be taking hiphop to the next level.
Aha, it’s a Cover
Take On Me by Shiny And The Spoon (Aha cover) (download here) The 80′s classic get a makeover here by Shiny and The Spoon. It’s chill and mellow with, i believe, a xylophone. Good stuff
So I Creep
Creep by The Afghan Whigs (TLC cover) (download here) A nice little cover of the TLC classic that will make your wednesday go a little bit smoother
