Be Cool
Be Cool by Lake Street Dive (download here) (Buy from Amazon) This is a pretty chill and funky tune by Rachael Price. She’s a badass jazz musician out of Tennessee and was only 22 when she recorded this. This is one of my favorite tunes.
This is the Marriage of Heaven and Hell
Mardi Gras by Surprise Me Mr. Davis (download here) (Buy from Amazon) This is the marriage of heaven and hell and it’s done by The Slip. The band that’s called Surprise Me Mr. Davis is actually The Slip plus one other dude. They’re all Boston guys. This is a great tune.
Before you kiss me, you should know…
Papa Was A Rodeo by Magnetic Fields (download here) (Buy from Amazon) An anti-love song that should be a good anthem for lots of heartbroken gals on Valentine’s Day. A great little tune
Ghostbusters Jam
On Our Own by Bobby Brown (download here) (Buy from Amazon) Nothing like a tune from the Ghostbusters 2 soundtrack. Bobby Brown was hitting his stride right about then. We’ve got to make it on our own.
My Hometown
My Hometown by Kallet, Epstein and Cicone – Cover of Bruce Springsteen song – (download here) A chilled out version of The Boss classic. It’s a good tune and a nice change of pace.
